It felt like forever, and in some ways it was, but the website is finally up and running again!

Welcome To The Linkshell Removed Version Of Rianon.net!
To start off I would like to thank each and every one of you reading this for all your support in light of the recent events concerning the former DRFierce linkshell. Many have asked for me to start a linkshell, but I don’t think it would be fair of anyone to be in a linkshell where the leader isn’t around much. I am sure you all have found a home in the linkshell of your choice, and as always, I wish you nothing but the best.

Now I will mention that this website will not just solely be based on my adventures in Vana’diel, but will run the gamit of things going on in my own personal life. Being inspired by blogs of those like Brandson, whom you may know from the UI mods he makes for FFXI, I figured this could be quite an interesting venture.

Well, after a little bit of thinking, I decided to join the linkshell that Marla formed known as AmythestKnights. It is quite a friendly shell, much like DRF was, and quite a few former members had also joined along, so the atmosphere was very familiar. Also in this time I have gotten much more acquainted with Campaign stuff in Wings of the Goddess. It’s quite a bit of fun, although it feels like it quite lacking from what Treasures of Aht Urhgan had in it’s inital offering.

I would love to mention other things going on, but with this being the holiday season, I am working a bit more so I can make the extra $$$ needed to get everyone in the family the Christmas gifts they want. Certainly for the new year I will have plenty more to share from Vana’diel.

Seems like that’s all I have for you today. I would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The insanity that was 2007 will be hard to match, but maybe 2008 can be even crazier. There might be a post before the year is over, but I won’t say it will definately happen. I’ll just leave it at “We’ll see.”
