
July 21st’s version update opened up the Past Northland areas (Beaucedine Glacier and Xarcabard) in FFXI. I decided to go take a look.
Firstly, upon arrival, it was Darksday, which gave the area quite a eerie feel, which made it all the more awesome. Of course, that went away roughly 2 or 3 minutes later.
Instead of boring you to tears with vocal walkthroughs, here’s a batch of screenshots!

yeah me and some LS mates when running around the northlands last night it was a lot of fun. The music in xarcabard S fits well gives it that creepy feeling. We had several death and after the flying dragon agroed some other people we rushed in to fight it knowning we would die (which we did). lol
