Where Does the Time Go? (May 2nd, 2010)
Today is my niece’s 10th birthday.
I think back and can remember when Heaven was born:
- I was a junior in high school
- I was 16
- FFXI was recently announced at some SquareSoft millennium press event.
- My mom and stepfather would marry nearly two months later.
So that’s all well and good, but it seems as though all of that just happened in the past few weeks, and not 10 years ago.
Just makes me wonder how time just seems to fly by.

Congratulations Are In Order! (September 27th, 2009)

Today, Mandze became known as Mrs. McDowell, as she got married out in Hawaii! So the next time you see her, be sure to send well wishes to her… or you could just ambush her blog with congratulatory comments, lol

George Shane (1936 – 2009) (September 2nd, 2009)
Sadly, today I lost my Grandpa Shane due to a massive heart attack. I am having a really rough time trying to cope, so I am not going to go deep into stuff about him yet. I’ll talk more about him, and how phenomenal a man he was in a few days, after things have had time to settle.
I love you Grandpa, and dammit I am really going to miss you!
